A simple spin of the wheel allowed second-place Craig Van Brocklin to take home a $50 Visa gift card as NEFAR’s Inaugural Trash Challenge raffle winner. Van Brocklin, who is not a member of NEFAR, had 81 spaces on the wheel, a testament to his 81-bucket, second-place finish in the challenge.
The top finishers were NEFAR staffer Taylor Swagel, with 200 buckets, and third-place Koi Davis of iHeart Realty, with 40 buckets. As the top trash collector, Taylor won $250 cash and the coveted “Golden Grabber”.
As the second-place finisher, Craig won two tickets to the Coastal Conservation Association’s Northeast Banquet and Auction on Thursday, October 3 at the Glass Factory in Jacksonville and a $100 gift card.
Taking third place with 40 buckets, Koi won a $100 gift card.
Challenge organizer Amanda Feagle (57 buckets) and NEFAR employees Taylor Swagel (200 buckets) and Marcia Hodgson (1 bucket) were ineligible from entering the raffle due to their positions on NEFAR’s staff and the Waterway’s Committee.
Also competing in the Challenge were Neal Brown of iHeart Realty with 5 buckets and Wanda McReynolds of Latitude 30 Realty with 1 bucket.
The three top finishers will also be recognized during NEFAR’s Annual Meeting, which will be held on Friday, September 20, at the Marriott Jacksonville in Southpoint.
