Supporting Our Appraisers: NEFAR Helps Members Stay Renewal Ready

2026 Appraiser Classes

NEFAR recently wrapped up another successful series of Florida appraiser license renewal classes, helping appraiser members complete the continuing education they need to stay licensed and continue serving their communities with professionalism and expertise.

Florida appraisers are required to renew their licenses by November 30, 2026, completing 30 hours of continuing education every 24 months. The renewal requirements include the 7-hour National USPAP Update Course, the 3-hour Florida Appraisal Law and Board Rules course, and 20 hours of approved elective or specialty education.

One of the highlights of this year’s classes wasn’t just the education, it was the feedback from attendees. “500 stars! Thank you for doing these classes,” said one participant. Throughout the renewal program, appraisers shared their appreciation that NEFAR offers every required course needed to complete their license renewal in one convenient location. Another appraiser said “The instructor and staff were excellent and the facility is the best!” Several participants noted that NEFAR is the only association they know of that provides the full renewal package for appraisers. Another complimented NEFAR, saying that “Venue and staff exceeded expectations – the reason I return over the years.”

Providing comprehensive education is one of the many ways NEFAR supports every segment of its membership. By offering the complete renewal curriculum, NEFAR helps appraisers save time, simplify the renewal process, and stay focused on serving their clients and communities.

If you haven’t completed your continuing education requirements yet, there’s still time before the November 30, 2026, renewal deadline. Be sure to complete all 30 required hours before your license expires.

Thank you to all of our appraiser members who participated in this year’s renewal classes. Your commitment to continuing education reflects the professionalism and dedication that strengthen our industry every day, and NEFAR is proud to support your success!
