Elevate Your Real Estate Career

No matter how much experience in the industry you have, NEFAR offers a real estate class for everyone. It is the perfect place for both new and seasoned REALTORS® to keep abreast of current real estate practices and trends. The association offers a wide array of in-person and virtual courses – which are often discounted or free to members – enabling real estate professionals to hone proficiency, specialized skills, and knowledge. Earning real estate designations and certifications through NEFAR gives REALTORS® an edge on their competition, and the completion of many classes provides continuing education credit that is essential in retaining your license. Post-licensing courses are available to both agents and brokers.

REALTORS® can also enhance their professionalism through membership in NEFAR’s EDGE (Ethics, Diversity, Goals, Excellence) Professional Society. The only REALTOR® association in the country to offer membership in EDGE, NEFAR has developed this special program to assist REALTORS® in boosting their professionalism as they compete in a diverse and multicultural marketplace.

Flexible Learning Options: In-Person and Online Classes

In-Person

The in-person classes are held in classrooms at various locations, but the majority are scheduled in auditoriums at the association’s headquarters, the NEFAR Resource Center.

Online

NEFAR’s on-line courses do not include a live instructor and are not held at a specific date or time. They are accessible on your computer 24/7, through our online course partner, The CE Shop.

Virtual

Virtual classes are also taught by well-seasoned instructors at a specified date and time, just like a classroom course. As they would for an in-person class, members can register for virtual courses using the calendar on this website.

FAQ's

Most in-person classes are taught at the NEFAR Resource Center. Some classes may be held at NEFAR’s other three service centers (Beaches, Southwest and Putnam) and/or varying offsite locations as announced.

Online registration is preferred for all courses. Some classes may require a completed registration form to be submitted to NEFAR or elsewhere. Registration requirements are included in the course description for each class. Course descriptions and registration links are available on the NEFAR course calendar.

Please contact NEFAR’s education department to cancel a registration, to open a spot for another member. NEFAR does not confirm course cancellations. To cancel a course for which you have paid a fee, email (verbals not accepted) a cancellation / refund request to Education@NEFAR.com no later than four business days prior to the first day of the class, unless otherwise indicated.

Registration confirmations are emailed to you the next business day after registering, to the preferred email address in your NEFAR member record. It is your responsibility to maintain a current, valid email address in your NEFAR member record. If you do not receive a confirmation after the next business day, contact NEFAR Education Department staff (or contact realMLS if you’ve registered for a flexMLS course). Confirmations list the first day of the class, even for multi-day courses.

All realMLS classes are handled by realMLS, not NEFAR. Please visit realMLS.com for information about their course offerings and how to register.

Log into your NEFAR member account. On the menu bar select Education, then My Courses. Click on the course ID, then print your CE slip.
