Membership as a REALTOR® is open to professionals working in the real estate industry, including those who are licensed or certified as appraisers. By becoming a REALTOR®, appraisers gain the ability to apply for Multiple Listing Service (MLS) participation, which provides comprehensive access to MLS data and services. This includes detailed information on active, sold, expired, and withdrawn listings, as well as access to statistical reports and third-party public record aggregators.
Thank you for your interest in joining the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors (NEFAR).
The following license types are eligble to join as a REALTOR member.
The application packets include everything you need to join NEFAR and/or realMLS, including the required forms and dues information.
NEFAR offers all 30 hours of appraiser CE credits for license renewal. This includes:
Many appraisers have real estate licenses as well. Three of the appraiser classes that NEFAR offers have dual CE credit (example: 4 CE Hours Appraiser Credit and 4 CE Hours Realtor Credit).
The National Association of REALTORS® offers an Appraisal Designation Program, allowing REALTOR® Appraiser members to earn designations such as RAA (Residential Accredited Appraiser) and GAA (General Accredited Appraiser). These designations are awarded to those who surpass the minimum education and experience standards set by the Appraiser Qualifications Board of The Appraisal Foundation.
As a REALTOR® member of NEFAR, you unlock a broad range of benefits designed to support your success. Beyond the extensive offerings provided by NEFAR, you’ll also enjoy access to additional resources and benefits from Florida Realtors and the National Association of REALTORS®.
A Registered Trainee Appraiser license type does not qualify to be a Realtor member.
