Strategic Plan: Vision 2025

NEFAR relies on a strategic plan to guide its board, committees, staff, and communicate value to nearly 12,000 members. The plan is updated every three years. The process for developing the 2023 to 2025 plan was to analyze strengths and structure, seek the input of assigned “goal champions*,” and receive the input of officers and the CEO.
* Goal Champions help monitor progress in their respective goal, ensuring committees are functioning as intended, and reporting to the board as called upon.

GOALS

The goals align with NAR Core Standards. They deliver value to members, answering the question, “Why belong to this association?” The resources of budget and staffing must be aligned with the goals. Four of the goals are intended to deliver value while the fifth addresses the necessary structure and potential growth of NEFAR.

Strategies

The strategies, programs, and priorities are set to advance each goal. The leadership stayed at an elevated level in setting strategies, knowing that the professional staff and committees will set a program of work and performance metrics.

Advocate

The voice and advocate for private property rights, fair and attainable housing, and homeownership.

Influence
Monitor and shape governmental regulation at the local, state, national, and international levels.
Grassroots
Involve members in local government relations, issues, and candidates through grassroots participation and support for RPAC.
Housing
Identify and promote involvement with fair housing and economic incentives.
Coalitions
Maximize the opportunities to collaborate with Florida REALTORS®, NAR, public, and private organizations to develop mutual interests.
