NEFAR’s Area Councils & Specialty Groups provide opportunities for membership to engage in a wide range of social and learning activities. With 12 groups planning monthly or quarterly events, you are sure to find something of interest regardless of where you live or work. Events range from networking mixers and competitive sporting events to educational luncheons and family fundays. Click the “Learn More” button to view the latest updates for each group. Area Councils

Beaches Area Council

Serving Duval County coastal communities and neighborhoods east of I-295 and north of JTB.

Historic Area Council

Serving the historic neighborhoods surrounding downtown Jacksonville and the urban core.

Mandarin Area Council

Serving the Mandarin and Southside area of Jacksonville east of I-295 south to Julington Creek.

Northside Area Council

Serving areas of Duval County north of Trout River up to Yulee and Fernandina

Ponte Vedra Area Council

Serving Ponte Vedra and the coastal communities of St. Johns County

Putnam Area Council

Serving areas west of the St.johns river south of Green Cove Springs and areas surrounding Palatka.

Southwest Area Council

Serving west Jacksonville communities and areas around Middleburg in Clay County

St. Johns Area Council

Serving areas east of the St. Johns River from Nocatee to St. Augustine.

Specialty Groups

Commercial Alliance of REALTORS® (CAR)

Serving the needs of NEFAR members who have an interest in the commercial practice of real estate.

Global Business Council (GBC)

The GBC aims to enhance the professionalism of REALTORS® involved in international transactions and to be the resource for international investment in northeast Florida. $25 annual membership fee required.

Property Management Council (PMC)

This group allows property managers to come together for networking, sharing experiences and advice, and holding events together.

Young Professionals Network (YPN)

YPN aims to help real estate professionals that are new to the industry excel in their careers by giving them the tools and encouragement to become involved in four core areas: Realtor associations, real estate industry, peers, and community.
