Filing a DMCA Notice to Remove Copyrighted Content
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been infringed, please provide us with a written DMCA notice containing the following information:
- Contact Information: Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the Copyrighted Work: A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
- Location of the Infringing Material: A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on NEFAR.com, sufficient for us to locate the material (preferably including the URL).
- Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy and Authority Statement: A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
- Signature: Your electronic or physical signature.

Important Information About Filing a DMCA Notice
When filing a DMCA notice, ensure that you have complied with all of the above requirements. If NEFAR or our attorney and copyright agent, requests additional information, please provide it promptly. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in your DMCA notice not being processed further. Additionally, please ensure that all information provided is accurate and factual.
Under Section 512(f) of the Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing or was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification may be subject to liability.
NEFAR may disclose any communications concerning DMCA notices or other intellectual property complaints with third parties, including any site users who have shared or posted the allegedly infringing material, and may provide DMCA notices to Chilling Effects.
