Lockboxes & eKEYS

Members are welcome to purchase lockboxes or establish electronic key (eKEY) service at all four NEFAR Service Centers. For pricing information and/or to purchase a lockbox please contact NEFAR Member Services at or call (904) 394-9494, ext. 1602.

Online Supra support is available 7 days a week from 8 am - 10 pm.


Applications known as eKEYs, are available to be loaded on Smart phones or tablets. These apps enable you to do business anywhere by using Bluetooth to open lockboxes that can be placed on properties throughout the region. Many android and Apple phones and tablets are compatible.

SERVICE LEVELS: Two service levels are available: eKEY Basic for common key-box functions and eKEY Professional, which includes basic capability plus additional tools such as MLS data stored on your phone, linking the listings to Google maps, and displaying showing details on your phone.

PAYMENT: eKEY service fees are paid directly to Supra through monthly deductions from your credit or debit card. No other form of payment is accepted. Supra will continue to charge your credit card even if you stop using your eKEY or your credit card expires. Fees will continue to accrue on your account until you contact NEFAR in writing to cancel.


NEFAR contracts with Supra for the iBox BT LE lockbox model, which is also called a keybox. A larger variety of smartphones and tablets can communicate directly with the iBox BT LE than any other Supra keybox.

iBox BT LE is equipped with a large key container that can hold both gate cards and keys. The shackle is completely removed from the lockbox for easy handling when the lockbox is placed on the property. The iBox BT LE communicates directly with most phones or tablets via Bluetooth technology. iPhone and iPad devices released before the iPhone 4S require a small adapter to communicate with iBox BT LE keyboxes.

PLEASE NOTE: Lockboxes ordered from NEFAR must be picked up in person from the NEFAR location (Resource Center, Beaches, Orange Park, Putnam) specified when the order form was submitted.


You will be given the shackle code if the lockbox is assigned to you and your identity as the owner of the lockbox can be verified. Shackle codes are not provided to anyone other than the person to whom the lockbox is assigned.

Feedback typically occurs when you have released the shackle of a lockbox that you do not own. For more information, contact Supra.

No. However, you can sell your lockboxes to other NEFAR members. The seller must notify NEFAR in writing about this transaction, providing the name of the firm of both the seller and buyer as well as the full serial number(s) of the lockbox(es) sold.
