Your NEFAR Staff

Reports to the Board of Directors, oversees all NEFAR departments, is a member of the Executive Committee, Ex-Officio member of the Board of Directors, and Budget and Finance Committee, is liaison to the Leadership Development Task Force and is NEFAR’s liaison to Florida Realtors® and the National Association of REALTORS®. He serves as CEO and as a trustee of the NEFAR Charitable Foundation and is the qualifying broker of NEFAR’s Real Estate School.

Handles NEFAR’s accounting / billing functions and office systems, including oversight of the member database. Liaison to Mandarin Council, Historic Area Council, Commercial Alliance of Realtors Specialty Council, Forms Committee, and Realtor-Builder Tradeshow Committee.

Processes new member applications, updates member records and handles member reinstatement and handles phone calls coming into NEFAR. Issues lockbox keys and sells lockboxes. Serves as liaison to Southwest Council.

Serves as the first point of contact for NEFAR members and visitors, providing welcoming, professional support at the front desk. Assists with member questions, phone calls, office traffic, registrations, payments, and general administrative needs. Helps support daily office operations and ensures members are directed to the appropriate staff, resources, or services.

Organizes, plans, and markets educational programs and activities for all members of NEFAR. Works with state, national, and other local REALTOR® organizations to provide educational opportunities and courses leading to professional designations and certifications. Serves as liaison to the Education Advisory Task Force.

Assists with the organization, planning and marketing of educational programs and activities for all members of NEFAR. Assists with coordination of NEFAR’s education program including class enrollment. Manages new member orientation including registration and completions. Introduces all instructors and gives instruction to students at the beginning of all classes.

Enforces NEFAR, Florida Realtors, and National Association of Realtors membership policies by monitoring DBPR licensing information and ensuring NEFAR members are properly licensed, which is a requirement for NEFAR membership. Audits NEFAR firm records to ensure that DBPR and NAR records are in accordance. Notifies brokers and follows through to resolution when discrepancies are found.

Administers NEFAR’s Omsbudsman Request process, Ethics Complaint process and the Mediation/Arbitration process. Realtors are bound to adhere to NAR’s Code of Ethics and realMLS members must abide by the Arbitration process. Serves as liaison to the Grievance Committee, Professional Standards Committee, Mediation Task Force.

Monitors local, state, and federal legislative and regulatory activities impacting NEFAR, recommends and advances NEFAR’s responses/positions. Serves as chief lobbyist and political advisor for Legislative Committee, Candidate Screening Task Force, and Board of Directors. Primary fundraiser for Realtors Political Action Committee (RPAC).

Supports the NEFAR Government Affairs Director with monitoring local, state, and federal legislative and regulatory activities impacting NEFAR. Provides support to the Legislative Committee, Candidate Screening Task Force, and Board of Directors. Leads and supports the planning and execution of events and fundraisers for Realtors Political Action Committee (RPAC).

Leads NEFAR’s Communications & Creative Services Department, overseeing marketing, events promotion, branding, digital communications, publications, and the association’s website. Manages department priorities, staff workflows, and creative strategy while remaining actively involved in key projects and day-to-day execution. Handles NEFAR’s more complex design, multimedia, branding, and web projects that support member engagement, sponsorships, major events, and organizational goals.

Leads the planning and execution of NEFAR’s major events, ensuring exceptional experiences that reflect the association’s standards of excellence. Provides guidance and support to NEFAR’s Area Councils, Specialty Groups and other comittees and task forces throughout their event planning processes. Oversees NEFAR’s annual sponsorship programs and cultivates strong relationships with sponsors, affiliate members, and partner organizations to enhance collaboration and mutual success.

Acts as NEFAR’s primary media liaison, delivering press releases on market statistics, housing trends, and organizational news to keep the community informed. Manages internal communications to ensure members receive timely, relevant updates through a variety of channels, while producing original content for NEFAR’s website and magazine. Supports NEFAR events and serves as the key contact for the Global Business Council, fostering collaboration and engagement.

Supports sponsor and affiliate relationships, helps coordinate event logistics, and serves as a liaison to NEFAR’s Area Councils by assisting with event planning, promotion, and social media marketing efforts. Also helps track event details and gather feedback to support continued improvement of NEFAR events.
