Reports to the Board of Directors, oversees all NEFAR departments, is a member of the Executive Committee, Ex-Officio member of the Board of Directors, and Budget and Finance Committee, is liaison to the Leadership Development Task Force and is NEFAR’s liaison to Florida Realtors® and the National Association of REALTORS®. He serves as CEO and as a trustee of the NEFAR Charitable Foundation and is the qualifying broker of NEFAR’s Real Estate School.

Assists with the organization, planning and marketing of educational programs and activities for all members of NEFAR. Works with state, national and other local REALTOR® organizations to provide educational opportunities and courses leading to professional designations and certifications. Manages all NEFAR virtual classes.

Assists with coordination of NEFAR’s education program including class enrollment. Manages new member orientation including registration and completions. Advises the education director in the hiring of potential instructors for NEFAR education programs. Introduces all instructors and gives instruction to students at the beginning of all classes.

Compliance Administrator

Enforces NEFAR, Florida Realtors, and National Association of Realtors membership policies by monitoring DBPR licensing information and ensuring NEFAR members are properly licensed, which is a requirement for NEFAR membership. Audits NEFAR firm records to ensure that DBPR and NAR records are in accordance. Notifies brokers and follows through to resolution when discrepancies are found.

Administers NEFAR’s Omsbudsman Request process, Ethics Complaint process and the Mediation/Arbitration process. Realtors are bound to adhere to NAR’s Code of Ethics and realMLS members must abide by the Arbitration process. Serves as liaison to the Grievance Committee, Professional Standards Committee, Mediation Task Force.

Monitors local, state, and federal legislative and regulatory activities impacting NEFAR, recommends and advances NEFAR’s responses/positions. Serves as chief lobbyist and political advisor for Legislative Committee, Candidate Screening Task Force, and Board of Directors. Primary fundraiser for Realtors Political Action Committee (RPAC).

Oversees and takes an active role in the planning, design, production and distribution of all NEFAR marketing and communication efforts. Serves as the in-house graphic artist, photographer and website manager/designer. Serves as liaison to NEFAR’s Young Professionals Network (YPN).

Serves as NEFAR’s liaison with the media; provides press releases on market stats, housing trends and other NEFAR news of interest to the community. Works closely with the creative director by providing communications about NEFAR and its membership, including in-house copy and original stories of specific interest that can be viewed on NEFAR.com. Assists in the coordination of NEFAR events. Serves as liaison to NEFAR’s Global Business Council.

Assists with the design and communication efforts needed for NEFAR’s Area Councils and Specialty group events. Manages NEFAR’s social media channels by creating graphics and writing copy in line with NEFAR’s mission and objectives. Photographs moments that highlight NEFAR’s members at some events and courses for social media. Responsible for updating new events on NEFAR’s website.

Oversees the planning and execution of NEFAR’s major events. Helps guide NEFAR’s various council’s and groups in their event planning processes. Manages NEFAR’s annual sponsorship programs and helps manage NEFAR’s various business relationships with sponsors, affiliate members and other associated organizations.
