NEFAR’s Beaches and Putnam Area Councils Support the REALTOR® Party Through Recent Events

REALTOR Party Beach Bowl Event

NEFAR’s Beaches, Ponte Vedra and Putnam Area Councils recently hosted two REALTOR Party events that brought members together for networking, education and fundraising in support of the REALTOR Party.

On August 11, the Beaches Council and Ponte Vedra Council hosted the REALTOR Party Beach Bowl Tournament at Beach Bowl in Jacksonville Beach. The afternoon event brought members together for a friendly bowling competition, with teams of four competing in two games. Participants also had opportunities to network and enjoy food and beverages throughout the event. In total, the event raised $1,940 for the REALTOR Party.

The following day, on August 12, the Putnam Area Council hosted a REALTOR Party Lunch & Learn at St. Johns River City College in Palatka. The event featured guest speakers Putnam County Supervisor of Elections Charles Overturf, and Vice President of Economic Development Sara Maxfield. Overturf provided an overview of the upcoming elections, including what will appear on the ballot and the measures in place to help ensure election security. Maxfield discussed economic development in Putnam County and highlighted five projects currently underway in the area.

Members also enjoyed catered barbecue, networking and a silent auction featuring gift cards and other items. The event raised $2,805 for the REALTOR® Party. Some notable attendees were NEFAR’s 2027 President Gonzalo Mejia, 2027 President-elect Tiea Vincent, realMLS CEO Nicole Jensen and NEFAR CEO Glenn East.

Together, the two events raised $4,745 for the REALTOR Party while giving NEFAR members opportunities to connect with fellow REALTORS, learn more about their communities and participate in activities supporting advocacy efforts. The events demonstrated the many ways NEFAR councils are bringing members together to support the REALTOR Party.
