realMLS INSIDER

realMLS Vision: We see realMLS as the preferred provider of advanced tools and resources to promote a healthy marketplace.

This month, we spotlight Finding Homes as our featured vendor, introduce new listing flexibility through NAR’s Multiple Options for Sellers Policy, and provide information on a new realMLS dashboard layout.

Technology & Data

For September and October, realMLS is spotlighting Finding Homes, powered by Lundy, Inc.—the most comprehensive voice-activated property search engine available today. Not only can you use it yourself, but you can also share it directly with your customers through the Alexa Skills Library, Alexa app, or any Alexa-enabled device. Imagine your clients simply asking, “Alexa, find me a three-bedroom home in Jacksonville” and getting results instantly.

Finding Homes is also a major win for accessibility, making property searches easier for those who are visually impaired or who prefer a hands-free experience. It’s one more way realMLS helps you deliver value, stand out in the marketplace, and make home searching more inclusive for everyone. Access Finding Homes through your Alexa-enabled device and explore how it can enhance your customer experience. To see it in action, join one of our upcoming trainings on Wednesday, September 17 at 10:00 AM or Monday, October 6 at 1:00 PM. Learn more and register at realmls.com/finding-homes.

Healthy Marketplace

realMLS invites all customers to attend an important information session about the upcoming local implementation of NAR’s Multiple Listing Options for Sellers policy. This national policy provides sellers and their agents with greater flexibility in how properties are marketed while continuing to promote fair housing through equal access to listing information in the MLS.

realMLS already offers options such as Coming Soon, Seller’s Waiver, and IDX Opt-Out. Building on these tools, our Board of Directors and staff have designed a local implementation of the new policy that strengthens your options while minimizing disruption to the marketplace. During these sessions, we’ll outline how realMLS is implementing the NAR policy locally and walk you through the updated “Multiple Listing Options for Sellers Disclosure.” We strongly encourage your attendance at one of these sessions. Join us on Thursday, September 18 at 1:00 PM (Virtual) or Monday, September 29 at 10:00 AM (In Person). Register at realmls.com/events.

Engage & Educate

This September, realMLS encourages you to refresh your safety skills and stay vigilant. Realtor Safety Month is the perfect reminder that your safety is just as important as your business success. Safety includes both physical safety and online safety, and it’s a great time to recommit to protecting yourself in every aspect of your business.

As a bonus for Florida Realtors, members get free access to Forewarn, a safety tool with real-time alerts and client background checks. Learn more at Florida Realtors Forewarn Tool. You can also explore additional safety resources from NAR at nar.realtor/safety. Make safety your priority this September.

Housekeeping

Starting September 15, your realMLS Dashboard will feature a refreshed design that makes it easier than ever to access the tools and services you need. The new layout includes clearly defined categories—Core realMLS Products, Local, State, and National Association Services, plus Marketplace options—so you can quickly find what you are looking for at a glance.

Please note that this update will override any existing customizations, and dashboards will no longer be customizable. No action is required; the update will go live automatically. Learn more at realmls.com.
