Step Back in Time at the Arlington Mod & More Home Tour

Arlington Mod & More

Jacksonville’s most unique home tour is back! The Northeast Florida Association of Realtors® presents the 9th Annual Arlington Mod & More Home Tour on October 11–12, 2025. This year’s tour promises a vibrant mix of architectural gems, historic treasures, and community spirit.

Guests will explore eight unique homes, ranging from quirky mid-century designs to stunning riverfront estates. Each stop highlights the character of Arlington’s neighborhoods, built in the 1950s through the 1980s. As a bonus, tour-goers will experience an authentic 1950s Fallout Shelter and enjoy viewing classic cars from the era at select homes.

The 2025 Feature Home holds a special place in design history. Named a “Five Star Home” and spotlighted in the July 1957 issue of Better Homes & Gardens, this architectural jewel was designed by E.G. Hamilton, who later won a Texas Society of Architects Design Award for the design.

Check-in begins at the Historic Norman Studios Silent Film Museum, where guests will also enjoy a guided tour of this National Historic Landmark. Norman Studios is the only remaining silent film studio complex from Jacksonville’s era as the “Winter Film Capital of the World.”

The tour runs:

  • Saturday, October 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, October 12 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Tickets are $25 (plus fees) and include all home tours and museum access. Children under 12 attend free. Proceeds benefit Old Arlington, Inc. (OAI), an organization dedicated to preserving and revitalizing one of Jacksonville’s most historically significant communities. Whether you’re a fan of architecture, history, or simply looking for a unique Jacksonville experience, the Arlington Mod & More Home Tour is not to be missed.
