The opportunity to help guide the future of the Northeast Florida real estate community is here. NEFAR is now accepting applications from qualified REALTOR® members interested in serving in a 2027 leadership role, offering members the chance to contribute their voice, experience, and leadership to the association’s direction.
Serving in a leadership position is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the organization and the membership it represents. NEFAR is currently seeking applicants for several 2027 Officer and Director positions. Those who serve on the Board play an important role in shaping the association’s strategy, upholding its mission, supporting sound decision-making, and ensuring the needs and interests of members remain at the forefront.
Members interested in running for a leadership position are encouraged to carefully review the information available on the NEFAR Elections page. This includes the association’s bylaws, standards of conduct, and detailed application requirements.
To apply, interested members should follow these steps:
- Visit the NEFAR Elections page to review the process and available positions
- Review the eligibility requirements outlined in Article XI of the NEFAR Bylaws
- Read the Standards of Conduct in the NEFAR Policy Manual
- Download and complete the leadership application
- Clearly indicate the position you are applying for, such as NEFAR Officer, NEFAR Director, or another applicable leadership role
- Include a résumé or short biography, or ensure questionnaire responses reflect your leadership experience and qualifications
Completed and signed applications must be submitted to Nominating@nefar.com no later than midnight on May 10.
