realMLS Vision:
We see realMLS as the preferred provider of advanced tools and resources to promote a healthy marketplace. This month, realMLS spotlights Earnnest as our April Vendor Spotlight, shares guidance on Seller Controlled Marketing and Coming Soon, highlights our upcoming E.A.T.S. event focused on crypto and blockchain, and provides an important Data Integrity reminder to help protect your business.
Technology & Data April Vendor Spotlight: Earnnest – Secure Digital Real Estate Payments
For April, realMLS is spotlighting Earnnest, a secure digital payment solution built directly into realMLS that makes collecting binder deposits (earnest money) faster, safer, and easier. With Earnnest, agents can request and receive earnest money without leaving the MLS—eliminating paper checks, reducing wire fraud risk, and keeping transactions moving smoothly.
Earnnest allows agents to send digital payment requests, track deposits in real time, and remove the hassle of coordinating check drop-offs or risky wire transfers. The result is fewer delays, increased security for your clients, and a more modern transaction experience.
Join our upcoming webinar, Future-Ready Realtors Are Digitizing Real Estate Payments with Earnnest for realMLS, offered April 16 at 11:00 AM and April 21 at 11:00 AM. During this live session, you’ll learn how to collect earnest money directly within realMLS and simplify your payment process from start to finish. Register at realMLS.com/events.
Healthy Marketplace – Empowering Seller Choice While Preserving Market Integrity
realMLS provides a flexible, structured framework that allows agents to tailor listing strategies to each seller’s goals—while maintaining the transparency and cooperation that protect the integrity of the marketplace.
The Coming Soon status allows agents to begin marketing a property while keeping it visible in the MLS. Seller Controlled Marketing options further align exposure with seller preferences within a rules-based system.
When using Coming Soon:
· Listings must be entered into realMLS within 3 days of public marketing
· Sellers must complete the Seller Controlled Marketing Disclosure Form

Housekeeping Tip: Don’t Panic – It’s Just a Data Integrity Notice
Most Data Integrity notices are simply notifications that a listing may need correction or clarification to ensure accurate and timely MLS data. Monitor emails from realMLS Data Integrity (including 1st, 2nd, or Courtesy Notices) and respond promptly to avoid potential fines.
Notices are sent from realMLS Data Integrity listingdatachecker@corelogic.com and may also appear as dataintegrity@realmls.com depending on your service settings.
