Information We Collect
Information You Provide to Us: Unless we receive your approval to do otherwise, any personal information that you provide to us will be used only to fulfill the stated objective for which the information was requested or collected. NEFAR does not sell, loan, or rent member email addresses.
Generated Information: We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, we may use “cookies” and gather information when you access NEFAR.realtor. Other types of information that we may collect or generate include the name of the domain from which you access the Internet, the date and time you access our site, and the Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to our site. This information is used solely to measure the number of visitors to different sections of our website and to help us make our website more useful to visitors. E-Commerce: We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store.

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:

We accept payments through a payment processing service such as PayPal or Stripe. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to the service provider, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

Caching: This site utilizes caching in order to facilitate a faster response time and better user experience. Caching potentially stores a duplicate copy of every web page that is on display on this site. All cache files are temporary, and are never accessed by any third party, except as necessary to obtain technical support from the cache plugin vendor. Cache files expire on a schedule set by the site administrator, but may easily be purged by the admin before their natural expiration, if necessary. Information about our members and/or users is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We share customer information only as described in this Privacy Notice.
Parties Over Which NEFAR Has No Control: NEFAR.realtor contains advertisements and web links to third-party sites, including sites owned or operated by NEFAR members or companies. NEFAR does not share NEFAR.realtor visitor information with the owners of these advertisements/links except for specific information regarding the frequency with which their advertisement(s) are visited.
Protection and Compliance with Laws: We may release account and other personal information when we believe it is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our Conditions of Use and other agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of NEFAR, our users, our members, or others. This may include exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. Member Directory and Searches: NEFAR is a private trade association whose membership consists of real estate and allied industry professionals. We make available on our website a searchable database of our members, which can be used by the public to locate and contact our members. The member information made available through the search function is intended to contain the business information of our members. NEFAR does not display or make available the home addresses or personal telephone numbers of our members unless that information is the preferred contact information provided to NEFAR.
Officers and Directors: For informational and contact purposes, NEFAR.realtor includes the names of members who serve as officers and directors.
Contact Us Feature: NEFAR.realtor contains features that allow you to contact us with your comments or questions. The information collected through these features is used to investigate and respond to your inquiries. If you are a member, we may also use the information you provide to update your membership record.
Links to Other Sites: NEFAR.realtor contains links to other Internet sites intended to improve the content or quality of NEFAR.realtor. While we hope you find these links helpful, we cannot assume responsibility for the privacy practices or the content of any linked site. Therefore, we encourage you to investigate and determine the privacy policy and practices of any linked site before providing information to them.
Surveys: We may, from time to time, create and use surveys on NEFAR.realtor or in emailed newsletters. Most surveys are simple “click box” surveys, but we may sometimes ask for your name, email address, or demographic information.
