This August, members of NEFAR’s Global Business Council traveled to Brazil for a trade mission focused on building international connections, exploring new business opportunities and experiencing Brazilian culture firsthand.
The mission provided participating REALTORS® and affiliates with the opportunity to connect with real estate professionals in Brazil and learn more about the country’s real estate industry and business environment. One of the trip’s highlights was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between NEFAR and Brazil’s Federal Council of Real Estate Brokers, strengthening the relationship between the two organizations and creating a foundation for continued international collaboration.
Beyond the business connections, the trip gave members the chance to experience Brazil’s culture, food and communities while building relationships with fellow real estate professionals. The experience highlighted the value of international engagement and the opportunities that can come from connecting Northeast Florida’s real estate industry with markets around the world.
Now, the Global Business Council is bringing the Brazil experience back to NEFAR with its upcoming Brazilian-themed event, “Turn Up the Heat, Brazilian Style,” on Sept. 24 from 11am to 2pm at the NEFAR Resource Center.
Attendees will hear firsthand about the recent GBC Mission Trip to Brazil, including details and highlights from the experience, while enjoying Brazilian food and drinks with fellow REALTORS and affiliates. The event is a chance to learn more about the council’s international efforts, hear what members experienced during the mission and connect with others interested in global business.
Registration is $25 for non-GBC members and free for GBC members. Food and drinks will be provided.
