The Northeast Florida Association of REALTORS® (NEFAR) Nominating Committee has officially announced the proposed 2027 slate of officers and directors for NEFAR, realMLS, and National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Large Association Director positions.
Online voting for REALTOR® members will take place through the NEFAR Member Portal at NEFAR.com beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, June 29, 2026, and closing at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Detailed voting instructions will be distributed in a separate member notice, and election results will be shared with REALTOR® members via email on Friday, July 3, 2026.
Members who completed the full Nominating Committee interview process, including required background and credit checks for officer positions, but were not selected for the proposed slate may still petition to appear on the ballot. To qualify, candidates must submit their name to the Nominating Committee by 5:00 p.m. on May 29, 2026, along with a petition signed by 100 REALTOR® members in good standing. No more than 25% of signatures may come from the same firm. Petitions should be submitted to nominating@nefar.com.

All candidates for NEFAR’s NAR Large Association Director positions were interviewed and vetted by the Nominating Committee and meet NAR submission requirements. Because the number of qualified applicants exceeded the available seats, REALTOR® members will determine which candidates fill NEFAR’s allotted positions through the election process. In accordance with NAR guidelines, no NEFAR member may serve more than two consecutive three-year terms.
NEFAR encourages all eligible REALTOR® members to participate in this important election and help shape the leadership that will guide the association into 2027.
