Southwest Council Chili & Dessert Cook-Off | Fundraiser for Clay County Safe Animal Shelter

Spice up your evening at the Southwest Council Chili & Dessert Cook-Off on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Southern Social Whiskey Bar & Lounge in Middleburg.

Sample delicious homemade chilis and desserts, cast your votes for your favorites, and enjoy friendly competition, all while supporting the Clay County Safe Animal Shelter. Admission is just $10, which includes 10 voting tickets for the cook-off.

Want to compete? Register your chili or dessert entry by emailing Evonne Moody at emoody@nefar.com. Contest check-in begins at 5 p.m.. Donations such as blankets, toys, and treats for shelter animals are also encouraged.

It’s a fun night of food, flavor, and community, don’t miss it!
