NEFAR member and 2024 NAR Good Neighbor Award Winner Stacy Horst joined River City Live’s Eden Kendall to talk about Erin’s Hope for Friends; a nonprofit organization committed to ending isolation and fostering meaningful friendships for teens and young adults with autism. Created in honor of Erin Horst, who lost her life to suicide after facing relentless bullying, the organization works to address the heartbreaking reality that one in ten individuals on the spectrum will consider or attempt suicide. By building connections through community programs, special events like the annual Gala, and growth into new regions, Erin’s Hope is shifting the focus from loneliness to true belonging.
