NEFAR officially ushered in a new year of leadership during the 2026 Installation and Awards on January 16 at the Sawgrass Marriott. Hosted by NEFAR CEO Glenn East, the event marked a milestone 30 years for the Association. It was a meaningful afternoon that honored achievements, recognized service, and celebrated the Association’s legacy.
EDGE™ Society & Leadership Academy
During the event, NEFAR recognized the 12 new members who were inducted into the EDGE™ Professional Society in 2025, recognizing REALTORS who exemplify Ethics, Diversity, Goals, and Excellence. The 2025 inductees were:

One of the most anticipated portions of the event was the presentation of NEFAR’s Annual Awards, recognizing outstanding members for their dedication, service, and impact. Transition of Leadership
After 2025 President Mario Gonzalez gave his closing remarks, Florida Realtors Treasurer Cyndee Haydon conducted the official installation of NEFAR’s 2026 officers and directors, who pledged to uphold the responsibilities of their roles. The new officers for 2026 include:

The installation concluded with the swearing-in of Kim Knapp as NEFAR’s 2026 President, led by past president Pete Dalton. Kim formally accepted the role, gave a speech to the membership about her hopes for the new year, and introduced the guiding theme for 2026: Do It Right. Keep It Real.

The 2026 Installation and Awards Ceremony was a powerful reminder of NEFAR’s strong membership, dedicated volunteers, and shared commitment to professionalism. As the Association enters its 30th year, NEFAR looks ahead with a new year, new leadership, and exciting plans for 2026.
