NEFAR is proud to share some very special news about one of our past presidents and members, Wendell Davis. On Friday, April 11, 2025, Davis was formally inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame at his alma mater, the University of Florida College of Health and Human Performance. This is well-deserved honor that highlights a lifetime of leadership, service, and dedication.
Davis graduated with his bachelor’s degree in 1964 and, following time in the U.S. Army, went on to earn his master’s degree in 1967. His professional career has been defined by excellence and impact, not only in real estate but also in his unwavering commitment to the organizations he’s served.
As a past president of both NEFAR and Florida Realtors®, Davis has been a pillar of leadership within the real estate industry. His contributions helped shape the direction of both NEFAR, and the real estate profession across the state of Florida. While the nomination form for the Hall of Fame had limited space to capture his many accomplishments, Davis’ children worked together to select the most impactful highlights of his remarkable journey. As it turns out, members of the selection committee who knew Davis personally were able to add even more information about his accomplishments, making this induction all the more meaningful. The induction ceremony was a family affair, with Davis’ children, grandchildren, and sister in attendance to celebrate the milestone together.
Please join all of us at NEFAR in congratulating Mr. Davis on this incredible achievement. We are honored to recognize him among our past leadership and to celebrate this new chapter in his legacy.
