With 2025 in full-swing, it has been three weeks since NEFAR’s Awards & Installation Gala. At the Gala, NEFAR’s 2025 officers were sworn in to their positions. They all have since taken over with a positive outlook for the year to come and nothing but excitement for all that NEFAR will accomplish as an association. Get to know these new officers and how their experiences have shaped them into the leaders they are today!
Mario Gonzalez – 2025 President
Gonzalez founded Navy to Navy Homes, and has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry. In addition to being a REALTOR®, Gonzalez is a broker, property manager, and instructor. He has been a dedicated member of NEFAR and has shown true leadership through his involvement, having served as a director of NEFAR for several years, and as realMLS President back in 2020. He now takes over as NEFAR President with this key theme in mind for the year ahead: “Forward Together In Service.” His emphasis on service comes from his background as a Navy veteran. As a former fighter pilot, Gonzalez holds military service members and veterans near to his heart as he does NEFAR. He honors these individuals through Navy to Navy Homes by partnering with Homes For Heroes, which offers discounts and cash back to members of the military, first responders, police officers, fire and medical field personnel, and teachers. These are just some of the things that make Mario himself, as he is also a family man, married to his wife of over 20 years, and has three children.
Kim Knapp – 2025 President Elect
Knapp is a broker at Coldwell Banker Vanguard’s office in Fleming Island. Knapp is known for her forward-thinking and innovative ideas. She is a seasoned leader, with this being her second year serving as a NEFAR Officer. Last year, she served as NEFAR’s secretary. Additionally, Knapp was President of realMLS in 2019, and is a member of NEFAR’s EDGE professional society. She is among a distinguished group of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) national instructors and is also serving as Florida CRS President this year. Knapp made a large contribution to NEFAR members as the founder of the valuable REBar Camp One Coast, a unique conference that allows participants to have open conversation and network, while also hearing from experts. Outside of real estate, she is dedicated to leading the women’s ministry at her church, and spending time with her children and granddaughter.
Gonzalo Mejia – 2025 Treasurer
Mejia is a team leader and broker associate at Watson Realty, as well as a well-known instructor for NEFAR Education. Originally from Peru, Mejia has a background in finance and a degree in Industrial Engineering. His financial expertise has greatly benefited his real estate career, which spans 20 years. Mejia is also an accomplished national and international speaker and instructor, frequently traveling across the country and abroad. Passionate about community involvement, he has served on multiple nonprofit boards and has participated in fundraising efforts for various organizations. Mejia loves to play tennis, and shares two sons with his husband, Michael.
Tiea Vincent – 2025 Secretary
NEFAR’s 2024 REALTOR® of the Year, Vincent is an accomplished real estate broker, property manager, and instructor. She is the owner and broker of NXTLevel Real Estate and has previously served as a director and treasurer for NEFAR. Since earning her Florida Realtors® Instructor license, she has been passionate about educating the next generation of real estate professionals statewide. Having graduated from the NEFAR, Florida Realtors and Women’s Council of Realtors Leadership Academies, she has now been accepted into the 2025 National Association Leadership Academy program. Additionally, Vincent has served as a director for Florida Realtors and the National Association of REALTORS®. In her personal life, Vincent is an avid fundraiser for a variety of community organizations, and is heavily involved in her church’s philanthropic efforts.
Rory Dubin – 2025 Immediate Past President
Dubin is dedicated to real estate education and professional development. As a managing broker with United Real Estate Gallery, he frequently trains new agents and has earned over 50 industry designations and certifications. A longtime leader within NEFAR, Rory has served as a board member for a decade, holding every officer role and actively participating in councils, committees, and task forces. His past leadership experiences include chairing NEFAR’s Global Business Council, Legislative Committee, Candidate Screening, and RPAC Task Force. In 2025, he is serving as Florida Realtors’ District 1 Vice President and is one of just 10 REALTORS® selected for the Florida NAR Director Mentoring Program.
