NEFAR members are invited to celebrate the association’s 30th anniversary with a special presentation exploring Jacksonville’s history through the lens of real estate, architecture and neighborhood development during the Annual Fall Business Meeting on Sept. 25.
Local historian Wayne Wood will take attendees on a journey through Jacksonville’s past, sharing stories of the people, places and developments that have helped shape the city and communities throughout Northeast Florida. The presentation will offer REALTORS® a deeper appreciation for the neighborhoods they serve, the stories behind the places their clients call home and the forces that have influenced growth, property values and neighborhood identity across the region.
The presentation also provides an opportunity to reflect on how Jacksonville and Northeast Florida have evolved while looking toward the future of the communities REALTORS® serve. As NEFAR marks three decades of serving the local real estate industry, members can gain a greater understanding of the history that helped shape the region they know today.
The Annual Fall Business Meeting will be held from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the Marriott Jacksonville on Salisbury Road, with doors opening at 11am. Registration is $10 per person and includes a buffet lunch. Registration is open to NEFAR members through Sept. 22.
