The Southwest Area Council welcomed members and affiliates for a fun-filled Networking Mixer on June 18 at Toasted Yolk in Fleming Island. With attendees embracing a tropical island theme, the event provided the perfect opportunity to strengthen professional relationships while supporting an important local cause.
Approximately 40 members and affiliates gathered to connect, exchange ideas, and build meaningful business relationships in a relaxed and festive atmosphere. Guests enjoyed a delicious spread provided by Toasted Yolk and Island Wing Company while taking advantage of dedicated networking time throughout the evening.
Adding to the excitement, attendees participated in a lively hula hoop contest and had the chance to win prizes through several 50/50 raffle gift card giveaways. The friendly competition and giveaways helped create an engaging environment that encouraged conversation and camaraderie among attendees.
A highlight of the event was the opportunity to give back to the community by supporting the Clay County SAFE Animal Shelter. Attendees generously donated much-needed supplies, filling two large boxes with items for the shelter. Representatives from SAFE Animal Shelter were also in attendance, allowing members to learn more about the organization’s mission and impact.
