A big round of applause to the 32 real estate professionals who achieved their Gold Key – Excellence in Professionalism certifications on September 5, 2024! These graduates mark the 12th NEFAR class to earn this distinguished recognition since the program’s inception in 2021.
Led by renowned instructor Cynthia DeLuca, the eight-hour course was held at the NEFAR Resource Center, covering essential “keys” to real estate success. This comprehensive curriculum equips participants with valuable insights to build thriving businesses in today’s competitive market.
With over 500 NEFAR members now proudly wearing their Gold Key pins, this certification is a significant milestone toward qualifying for the EDGE™ Professional Society. EDGE membership is a testament to a REALTOR®’s commitment to ethical practices and their ability to thrive in a diverse, forward-thinking industry.
EDGE stands for Ethics, Diversity, Goals, and Excellence. It’s an exclusive society designed for REALTORS® who complete six key qualifications: the Gold Key certification, C2EX endorsement, At Home With Diversity certification, Implicit Bias Training, the Code of Ethics or Business Ethics course, and the Fair Haven fair-housing simulation. Code of Ethics training is also a requirement for Florida real estate license renewal.
In addition, EDGE candidates must have a clean record, with no Code of Ethics violations in the past five years. Congratulations again to our latest Gold Key graduates—you’re on the path to excellence!
