Michigan REALTOR/educator to teach Bias Override class at NEFAR in April

James Cristbrook, founder and owner of Shain Park REALTORS in Birmingham, Michigan, is traveling to Florida for the sole purpose of teaching NEFAR’s Bias Override class on Thursday, April 25. Cristbrook has been a successful REALTOR® for over 20 years. He ranks in the highest percentile of all real estate professionals nationwide, and 11th of all REALTORS® in North America with his former company.

Cristbrook’s experience in real estate includes Director of Education and Events for a global brokerage; founder and educator at the Real Estate Institute of Michigan; former local network and state president of the Michigan Women’s Council of Realtors; 2021 Greater Metropolitan Association of REALTORS® Past President; 2022 National Association of REALTORS® Diversity Equity & Inclusion Committee Chair; NAR Fair Housing liaison, the Greater Realtors® Foundation founding member; certified real estate Continuing Education and Realtor® Code of Ethics instructor, NAR certified At Home With Diversity course instructor, coach and mentor.

Cristbrook carries the NAR ABR Designation and the At Home With Diversity certification. James is also a proud Major Investor in the Realtors® Political Action Committee (RPAC).

While guiding and directing the agents at Shain Park, REALTORS®, Cristbrook enjoys his positions as a Director on the Oakland County Economic Development Corporation and past president of BRAVO, the performing arts board at Cranbrook Educational Community. Cristbrook has also led the GMAR campaign and fundraising efforts to support Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs raising over $125,000 to date as well as the renovation of REALTOR® Park in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Through philanthropy and volunteerism Cristbrook has promoted and consulted with multiple local and national charities including Impact 100, Shades of Pink, Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, The Memorial Fund & Sister’s Hope – to name a few. Over the past decade he has served as a leader and event coordinator for Toys for Tots. He also serves as a Mentor Angel for Imerman Angels – supporting and guiding caregivers to those battling a variety of cancer related illnesses.

Cristbrook has been a speaker, panelist, and moderator at many real estate events, conferences, and symposiums across the country. He is known to be an engaging, charismatic leader and speaker who never fails to receive a positive response from his community and industry.

Cristbrook is also an accomplished singer, skater, and actor having begun his career as a performer for Walt Disney Productions and Walt Disney’s World on Ice.
