NEFAR held its annual Clean Up Florida Waters event on July 18th collecting over 6,000 pounds of trash!
The event took place at a variety of locations throughout the First Coast including: Bert Maxwell Boat Ramp, Knights Boat Ramp & Marina/Black Creek, Wayne B Stevens Boat Ramp/Ortega, Helen Cooper Floyd Park/Mayport, North Riverwalk/Sidney Geffen Riverwalk Park, and Lion’s Club Boat Ramp/Arlington.
Volunteers celebrated their hard work at an after party held at the NEFAR Resource Center. There were food, drinks, games, and raffles to close out the day.
