NEFAR Charitable Foundation is seeking a dynamic NEFAR REALTOR member to represent the association as its 2026 Best Buddies Champion and support the Best Buddies mission of inclusion throughout North Florida.
One Realtor member will be selected by NEFAR Charitable Foundation to participate in the Best Buddies Champion of the Year fundraising campaign. The selected Champion will raise funds and awareness for Best Buddies while supporting opportunities for friendships, jobs, leadership development, inclusive living and family support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Best Buddies Champion of the Year is a friendly fundraising competition that brings together community leaders who share a passion for inclusion and a drive to make a difference. Champions come from all walks of life and work to generate support for the Best Buddies mission throughout their communities.
NEFAR’s selected Champion will commit to leading a fundraising campaign, advocating for inclusion and helping raise awareness of the impact Best Buddies makes in the lives of individuals and families.
The campaign will culminate in the Best Buddies Champion of the Year celebration on Friday, November 20, 2026, at the Marriott TPC Sawgrass Hotel. Doors open at 6:30pm. The event will recognize the collective impact of participating Champions before naming the ultimate Champion of the Year for North Florida.

NEFAR Realtor members who have the heart, energy and network to lead a successful fundraising campaign are encouraged to consider volunteering. Members may also nominate themselves or someone they believe would be a strong Champion. To nominate yourself or someone else, please submit the nomination form below to nominating@nefar.com by the September 30 Deadline. NEFAR Charitable will make a NEFAR Champion Candidate recommendation to Best Buddies from the entries received
