Mayoral candidate to participate in REALTOR/ Builder Housing Crisis Town Hall 

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., April 10, 2023 – Mayoral candidate Daniel Davis will participate in a special forum on the housing crisis during a REALTOR/Builder Mayoral Town Hall* on Monday, April 17 from 5:30 pm – 7 pm. The event will be held at the Northeast Florida Builder’s Association Building, 6747 Southpoint Parkway, Jacksonville, 32216.  

The town hall will be jointly hosted by the Northeast Florida Association of REALTORS® (NEFAR) and the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA). 

The discussion will focus on affordable housing, building issues, and solutions, and Davis will be available to take questions and engage with REALTORS® and builders on issues that are of utmost importance to the real estate industry. 

“Attainable workforce housing is a critical issue. Everyone should be able to live in the community where they work. We are looking forward to having a real discussion on ideas and solutions for on how to make the American Dream a reality,” said 2023 NEFAR President Diana Galavis.  

“There is nothing more important than making Jacksonville a safer, more affordable city for families and growing businesses,” said Davis. “NEFAR and NEFBA represent the industry leaders, large and small, who will stand on the front lines with Jacksonville’s next mayor, and I am incredibly grateful to them for hosting this substantive town hall discussion.” 

The free event will be moderated by 2023 NEFAR President Diana Galavis. Light refreshments will be served.
