It was a great day for the real estate industry when election results were tallied in early November. Fourteen of NEFAR’s 17 REALTOR® Champions – including NEFAR member Leota Wilkinson – won their races to become elected officials in Northeast Florida. Only three of NEFAR’s endorsed candidates – Lakesha Burton for Jacksonville Sheriff, Charles Barr for City Council District 7, and Jennifer Lagner for Atlantic Beach City Commission Seat 4 – did not make the grade in the voter’s eyes. Also, passed was Florida Constitutional Amendment 3, which NEFAR endorsed.
