The Northeast Florida Association of REALTORS (NEFAR) is home to more than 12,000 members. This makes NEFAR the largest professional association in the region, and the 4th largest REALTOR association in Florida.
All NEFAR members are also members of the National Association of REALTORS (NAR), which totals almost 1.5 million members in the nation. On Wednesday, NAR released their 2025 Member Profile. The annual report provides a snapshot of NAR members’ business activity, income, firm affiliation, tech use and demographics based on transactions and trends from 2024.
Some notable statistics from the report were that 55% percent of members are affiliated with an independent company, while 87% are independent contractors at their firms. Additionally, NAR’s report showed that the median gross income for REALTORS® rose to $58,100 in 2024, up from $55,800 in 2023.
